ArmeniaGiven substantial over-capacity and a historical policy emphasis on self-sufficiency, major export opportunities to Armenia do not appear very prospective, especially if hydrological conditions improve and/or replacement nuclear is built. The continuation of relatively cheap prices for gas imported from Russia is not certain, although extended relief in this area could be an implicit result of major concessions granted to Russia's UES in the Armenian power sector.
